Contractors on deployment can face large and small risks when they travel. Incidents can range from petty crime, illness, and terrorist threats to natural disasters like earthquakes and pandemics such as COVID-19 and Ebola. As an employer, you can provide the best duty of care by ensuring their health, safety, and welfare.

Indeed, according to Ministry of Defence Standard 05-129 (DEFSTAN 05-129), CONDO applies globally to all Contractors, including Subcontractors who support the Ministry of Defence on Operations outside of the UK. Staying compliant with this standard is essential for contractors and businesses that employ them.

At Blue Mountain Group, we provide cost-effective CONDO training for all your contractors’ requirements. Whether you send them to the Far East, the Gulf, or other low or high-risk locations, CONDO training can help ensure their safety while working abroad. The training covers transit situations and living in other jurisdictions.

Conveniently located in the Fire Service College, Gloucestershire – we offer regular CONDO training courses throughout the year at our dedicated training facility. We also run ad-hoc courses upon request – so please get in touch if training at your location would be preferable and we can put together a schedule to suit your requirements.
