First Aid at Work course

The Level 3 First Aid at Work course provides participants with the skills, confidence, and certification required to act effectively in workplace emergencies. Designed to meet Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, this qualification is ideal for individuals designated as workplace first aiders in medium to high-risk environments. Learners will be assessed through practical demonstrations and a multiple-choice exam. Successful participants will receive a Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years.

*It is the training centres responsibility to ensure that each learner is sufficiently competent in the use of the english and or welsh language.

Course Syllabus

Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
Learn to assess incidents and provide immediate care in various emergencies, including unresponsiveness, choking, and bleeding
Master CPR techniques and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
Gain knowledge to manage minor injuries and illnesses such as burns, fractures, and other important medical conditions
